Florida notaries have the right to perform attested copies. Many people refer to these as certified copies, but the terms are actually not interchangeable. Florida notaries do not have the power to make certified copies.
Did you know that Florida is one of a few states that allow notaries to perform marriage ceremonies? Florida Statute 741.07 authorized notaries public in the state of Florida to solemnize the rights of matrimonial contract, under the regulations prescribed by law.

In Florida, there are different procedures according to your infraction. Florida processes those who are convicted of a felony, those on probation and those who have had adjudication of guilt withheld through one process, and those who have been disciplined by a regulatory agency (including the Florida Bar) through a different process.
