Coronavirus Update: Keeping Our Team, Customers and Community Safe and Healthy

We understand the growing concern surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19) for people everywhere, including notaries, and share in the collective duty of businesses to do their part to help end this epidemic.

As your bonding agency and stamp manufacturer, we want to inform you that Notary Public Underwriters has been taking extra precautions to ensure the health and well-being of our team members, customers and community.  We’ve always taken great pride in the cleanliness of our office, and know that this is more important than ever right now. Therefore, we have established even more rigorous protocols for frequently disinfecting our facilities and equipment.

In addition, we are giving our team members facts about COVID-19 and reminding them to follow simple but effective steps to keep themselves safe such as frequent handwashing.  We are encouraging our team members to take any signs of illness seriously and stay home if sick. They are advised to monitor symptoms and seek medical attention if needed.

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, you may have wondered, “Is that package safe to touch?” The WHO has answered that question for us.  They have made it clear that it is safe to handle a package, even if it comes from a place where the virus has been reported.

With restrictions and limitations coming out daily to help contain the spread of the virus, we are also currently implementing contingency plans designed to help us continue to operate and limit impact to your notary needs.

As always, we thank you for putting your trust in us as we remain committed to serving you.
