Notary Public Underwriters (NPU) is celebrating its 38th anniversary this year! It's hard to believe that it has been that long since the company was established.
A Brief History of NPU
Notary Public Underwriters was founded in 1985 by Jack Diestelhorst and Debra Solomon, who saw a need for a company that could offer fast and easy processes for individuals seeking to become a notary public or renew their notary commission, as well as provide high-quality notary products, insurance and training to notaries at a fair price. NPU quickly grew from a small company with two employees to become one of the largest providers of notary products and services in the United States.
The Heart of NPU
In celebration of NPU's 38th anniversary, we want to take a moment to thank our team for their hard work and commitment, and the support of our customers. We would not have achieved this milestone without you!
Over the years, we have seen our company grow and evolve. We have added new products and services, and we have expanded into new markets. But one thing has remained the same: our team's commitment to providing the best possible service to notaries. They are the heart and soul of our company, and we are incredibly appreciative of them and what they do to make this company successful.
We are proud of the long-lasting relationships we have built with our customers. We know that our customers are the reason we are in business, and we are dedicated to providing them with the best possible service.
A Look Back
To celebrate this anniversary, we are taking a look back at some of our favorite photos from over the years.
This business humbly began with just a small team of two people working out of a garage. We had a big dream, and the determination to make this company a success.
As our business grew, we expanded our office multiple times and hired employees. Many of these employees are still with NPU today!
Wow, talk about a blast from the past! At the time, these were state of the art computers and machinery to process notary applications and manufacture notary stamps and embossers. Today, we manufacture almost 100% of our items on multiple laser engravers. Laser engraving provides the crispest, cleanest imprint possible while maintaining its integrity through the many impressions demanded of it.
Any employee at NPU will tell you that we love any reason to celebrate and have fun! It is a great way for us to show appreciation and build strong relationships with one another.
Thank you for being a part of the NPU family! We are committed to continuing to grow and innovate, and we look forward to serving our customers and the notary public community for many years to come.
