Do I Need an Account?

Yes. You'll need to create an account to place an order, start a notary application or renewal, and access certain NPU services. If you’re a new customer, creating an account is quick and easy and allows you to manage your information and access your orders and documents.

Why Does It Say My Email Address Is Already in Use?

NPU allows only one account registration per email address. We do this to avoid confusion and to protect each person's account. If you receive a message saying your email address is already in use, you already have an account on our website.

Don't create another account using a different email address unless necessary. Instead, try logging in to your existing account or resetting your password. After attempting to reset your password, if you're still unable to access your existing account, contact our Customer Care team for assistance.

Can I Have More Than One NPU Account?

An email address can only be associated with one NPU account. If you already have an account, you should use that account rather than creating a duplicate.

If you're unsure whether you already have an account, try using the password reset option with your email address.

How Do I Change My Account Information?

Once you're logged in, you can access your profile and select Edit Profile to update your account information.

Keeping your email address and other account information current can help prevent problems when you need to access your account or receive important messages.

I’m a Renewing Notary, but It Says I Do Not Have an Account. What Should I Do?

Even if you are a renewing notary or have been receiving emails from NPU, you still may not have an active account on our website.

If the website say no account exists for your email, follow the steps to Create an Account and Log In. Once your account has been created and you are logged in, select Renew Commission to begin your renewal.

If the website says you already have an account but you're unable to log in, try resetting your password. If the issue persists, please contact Customer Care for assistance.
