Why Do You Need My Commission Information Before Making My Stamp?
Your stamp or seal must exactly match the information on your notary commission certificate, so we require a copy of your certificate before we can manufacture it. In many states, this is actually a legal requirement for notary stamps and seals, not just our policy.
This step also helps protect you. By verifying your commission information, it helps us confirm that the person placing the order is the actual notary named on the commission.

Why Hasn’t My Order Shipped?
Your stamp or embosser is custom-made using the information on your notary commission certificate, so it can't be manufactured until your commission is finalized and we have a copy of that certificate on file. Once we receive your commission confirmation, your order ships within three (3) business days.
If it's been longer than that, contact our Customer Care department at 800.821.0831 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we'll check on it.
Where is My Order?
If you ordered online, you can log in to check your order status and, once it ships, track it directly from your account.
If your order includes a custom stamp or embosser, keep in mind your order can't ship until your notary commission is finalized, so if your order looks like it's still processing, that's likely why.

My Order Says "At State." What Does That Mean?
At State means your order has reached the stage where your state is processing your notary commission, or you are completing the required steps directly with the state.
Once you have received your notary commission certificate, you may need to send a copy to NPU before we can ship your order or activating your bond and/or E&O insurance. Continue to check your email during this time. We will let you know if anything else is needed from your to complete the process.
Please keep in mind that state processing times vary. Once your application is with the state, the processing time is determined by the state and is outside of NPU’s control.
